Doris (Carie) Zerrusen

A two-time National Finalist, in 1982 Carie was the first female contestant to sink a perfect 25 free throws at the National Finals. She won a Getty Powell Award, a Frank Hise National Championship, and an Emile Brady Award that year. She later earned recognition as the first Ms. Basketball of Illinois and was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Hall of Fame.
