Gerken served as Regional Director of Northwest Region 1 for 11 years. Before that, he served as Lodge director at Lake Sammamish, Wash., Lodge No. 1843, and State Director. He and his spouse, Linda, worked tirelessly together to bring the program in Washington to new heights.
