Worman reached the National Finals twice, winning a Frank Hise National Championship and Getty Powell Award both times. He also won an Emile Brady Award. Worman was an all-star basketball player in high school. He holds a top-10 high school record at St. Anthony High School in Effingham, Ill.—he scored 1,181 points for the basketball team.
