Girard III is a two-time National Finalist and won a Frank Hise National Championship, Getty Powell Award, and an Emile Brady Award. As a freshman at Syracuse University, he led the nation in free-throw percentage at 96.2 percent—only the fifth freshman to ever do so. He was New York Gatorade Player of the Year in 2018 and 2019.
