Stiles made it to the National Finals in 1991, and though she didn’t win a championship, she went on to set the all-time career scoring record in women’s college basketball and played in the WNBA for the former Portland Fire and the Los Angeles Sparks. She was inducted into the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame in 2007 and the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.
