In 2017, Sophie earned the Getty Powell Award and Frank Hise National Championship after winning in a shoot-off. Now a Division I basketball player, Sophie brings leadership and determination to the BackBoard. She is excited to be a part of the program on the national level, after having so many positive experiences as a volunteer at her local Hoop Shoot competitions.
Advice for 2022 National Finalists: Enjoy every moment and don’t stress about anything because you’ve already made it this far. Have confidence in yourself.
