Chloe Furnstahl

Grand Canyon University
Tacoma, Wash., Lodge No. 174
2016, 12-13 Girls
8th place, 17/25

Chloe is adamant that a competitor’s short-term memory is important. In the Hoop Shoot and in life, she’s found that aiming to move forward—especially after moments that don’t go your way—can change your future. By shooting 200 free throws a day in preparation for the Hoop Shoot, Chloe learned the value of setting a goal and achieving it. She credits the Hoop Shoot for giving her the highest free throw percentage at her university, and she’s looking forward to encouraging and mentoring the next generation as a BackBoard member.
